Environment Day Observed

Angel  Lord Academy High School observed World Environment Day on June 5, Friday. Held in the school premises, Mr. Tekendra Raj Chemjong, academic coordinator extended the wishes on behalf of school on the very occasion. Addressing the students, Chemjong highlighted the significance of environment and gave stress upon the saving the environment for saving the earth through the spirit and action of working together. He assured that the school has been always committed to make the students aware and responsible upon the global issues and encourage them act accordingly.

Mr. Deepak Raj Sedai, HOD, Science Department stated on the causes of environment imbalance and subsequent consequences of it. He also emphasized on the development eco-friendly human behaviors for maintaining the ecosystem. He made a symbolic plantation to spread the message of need of plantation for environment conservation

In the program, Literature club leader Saraswati Magar recited a poem on theme of environment whereas the club member Krishma Dangal presented poem the environment conservation in English. Representing Orator’s Club Sampada Dulal delivered a remark on the significance of environment day. Ms Saina Syanbo, School Captain added the importance of environment and urged students to be aware and accountable about environment and its entities.  Art Club exhibited an art exhibition on the theme of the environment day while Green club and social club ran sanitation and plantation activities.
