ALA Badminton Competition-2079 held

Angel Lord Academy High School organized ALA Badminton Competition-2079 on 16 December, 2022 Friday. Held in the school premises, the competition was played in four categories namely Boy’s and girl’s junior and boy’s and girl’s senior.

In Boy’s senior, Prasanna Karki from grade VIII representing Red house registered for winner  Whereas Alen Limbu from the same grade from Green house secured the runner up. Pranjal Timilsina a seventh grader from Green house claimed second runner up in the category. Likewise, Santoshi Kalikote from grade VI bagged the first prize from Green house in the girl’s senior while second prized was secured by Sristi Dulal from grade VII representing yellow house. From Green house, Supriya Tamang an eighth grader claimed third prize.

In boy’s junior, Ravi Sharma from grade III won first position for Yellow house. Nawakushal Chaulagai from grade V and Sanskar Khadgi from grade III claimed second and third prizes for green and blue houses respectively. Moreover, Sanjita Thakuri from blue house become winner in girl’s junior while Samita Karki and Nirjala Poudel stood second and third respectively.

The competition was followed by a brief prize distribution function. On the occasion, The winner were given away with medals by Raj Kumar Tamang, HOD English department while Uttam Poudal, HOD Nepal Department distributed certificates. Bimala Chhetri, Lower Secondary Level In-charge offered Tika for all the winners whereas Nisa Rai, Kindergarten Level In-charge hosted the competition.

Organized with the motive of developing the sportsman spirit and physical fitness of the students, ranging from grade III to VIII more than hundreds of students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in qualifying round held on 14 December, 2022 Wednesday.
