On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Green Club of Angel Lord Academy High School launched a two-day plantation program to promote environmental awareness and responsibility. Various types of plants were planted within the school premises, with enthusiastic participation from both junior and senior students. Many students, along with their siblings, brought plants from home, showing a shared commitment to protecting nature.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Raj Kumar Tamang, Head of the English Department; Mr. Deepak Raj Sedain, Head of the Science and Environment Department; and Ms. Pushpa Thapa Magar, Green Club leader. Their presence added encouragement and significance to the event.
On the same occasion, the Green Club also handed over dustbins, brooms, and flower vases to Mr. Tamang to support the schoolโs cleanliness and sanitation efforts. Mr. Sedain expressed his gratitude to all Green Club members and participating students for their dedication to the plantation campaign. He also announced that members of both the Green and Social Clubs would take part in a cleanup campaign later in the day.
Green Club leader Ms. Thapa stated that the plantation program will continue for two days, aiming to create a greener and cleaner school environment.
